Mystery shrouded the deaths of a man and his sister-in-law following recovery of their bodies from a house at Nuabandha village under the Patna police station in Keonjhar district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Sanjay Nayak and his elder brother’s wife Pushpalata Nayak.
Sources said that some locals came to know about the deaths in the morning and informed the Patna police about it. The cops reached the spot, sent the bodies for postmortem and began an investigation into the incident.
Though the exact reason behind the deaths was yet to be ascertained, it was suspected that the two committed suicide by consuming poison on Sunday night.
