The Delhi Police has arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly posing himself as the ‘personal secretary’ toUnion Home Minster and calling the Labour Minister of Haryana and Law Minister of Rajasthan regarding a job for someone.
The accused has been identified as Sandeep Choudhary, a resident of Alwar district in Rajasthan.
According to a senior police official, on the complaint of the Home Ministry, a case was registered that one person posing himself as PS to HM and was calling the labour minister of Haryana and law minister of Rajasthan for giving a job to someone.
“The accused was apprehended from his village in Alwar. Interrogation revealed that Chaudhary used to work in the Hero Honda company at Dharuhera, but lost his job due to COVID-19,” said the senior police official.
“The accused, Sandeep, thought of a plan to get a job in any of the factories in Rajasthan or Haryana. He issued a SIM card in the name of his girlfriend and made calls,” said the police official privy to investigation.
“Sandeep posed himself as the personal secretary to the Union Home Minister and called Anup Dhanak, the labour minister of Haryana, and Tikaram Julie, the law minister of Rajasthan,” he said.
“Police have also recovered the mobile phone and one SIM card which were used in calling from the possession of the accused,” he further added.
