A youth here after getting Rs 22,000 from road called the man, whose money it was and handed over the same to him.
Bibek Malik (20) of Taparia Kandakuda in Hemgiri block works in a cloth store as a helper to earn his livelihood. He goes to college in morning and after returning from college in afternoon, he goes to work in that cloth store.
Since the college is closed now due to Covid-19 pandemic, Bibek works in the shop from morning to evening. On October 14 at around 11 am, when Bibek came out of that shop for some work, he saw a bunch of currency notes falling on road. First of all he could not believe but when he went nearer, he saw the money.
He picked up those currency notes and saw along with them, a bill. Bibek immediately informed the owner of the shop. Thereafter Bibek counted the amount and found total amount was Rs 22000. Bibek thought the person from whose pocket or purse the cash might have fallen, must be very much worried and therefore Bibek immediately dialed a mobile number which he saw on the bill. A man picked up the call and said to Bibek, he was immediately reaching near the shop.
After few minutes, the man reached there and Bibek showed him first the bill. When the man confirmed that unknowingly the bill and money had fallen from his pocket, Bibek handed over the cash to him.
After getting the money from Bibek, the man became emotional and he not only thanked him but also hugged him. He also praised Bibek a lot there.
