Martyr Deepak Singh will remain alive in our memories

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Pharenda village of Rewa district on Friday. He attended the funeral procession of Martyr Deepak Singh and also gave shoulder to the bier. The last rites of the Martyr Deepak Singh was performed with State honour.

Notably, Deepak Singh sacrificed his life in a scuffle with Chinese troop on border on June 16. Chouhan was accompanied by the Minister for Tribal Welfare Meena Singh, Members of Parliament Vishnudutt Sharma and  Janardan Mishra, MLA Divyaraj Singh and Former Minister Rajendra Prasad Shukla.

The Chief Minister said that nobody can see India with an evil eye because of a great son of India like Deepak. The whole India is proud of the valour, displayed by the Indian soldiers in a scuffle with intruding soldiers of China in western Ladakh. While paying tribute on behalf of the citizens of Madhya Pradesh, Chouhan said that Martyr Deepak Singh will always be alive in our memories. Being emotional, Chouhan said that today this village is blessed and I salute to the mother and father of the Martyr Deepak Singh.

Besides, Chouhan said that the whole state is with the family of the Martyr. Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to give Samman Nidhi of Rs one crore, Pakka house or plot to the family of Martyr Deepak Singh and Government job to his wife.

Chouhan mentioned that a road of the village of Martyr Deepak Singh will be named after him. Along with this, his statue will also be erected in the village.

His memories will be made everlasting. Every citizen of the State is feeling proud on the sacrifice of this great patriot of Madhya Pradesh.

Necessary help will be provided from the Government to the family.

Chouhan reached the residence of Martyr Deepak Singh, met his father Gajraj Singh Gaharwar, wife Rekha Singh as well as brother Prakash Singh and expressed condolences to them. The Chief Minister Chouhan laid wreath on the mortal remains of Martyr Deepak Singh.

Despite important activity to participate in proceedings related to Rajya Sabha election in the morning, Chouhan along with other public representatives reached Rewa district for Antim Darshan of Martyr Deepak Singh and to attend the funeral procession timely.
