Evaluation of answer sheets of this year’s annual High School Certificate (HSC) Examination would begin from May 26. The School and Mass Education Department in a letter gave the green signal to the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in this regard on Thursday.
Answer sheets of the candidates who appeared in the SOSC and Madhyama examinations would also be evaluated from May 26.
The department directed the board to make arrangements for the evaluation process as per the orders passed by the Orissa High Court in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the department also asked district Collectors to nominate a nodal officer, preferably an ORS officer, to supervise the logistic arrangements during evaluation process at the designated centres.
Earlier in the day, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said the results of the HSC examinations would be declared by July-end.
