Preparing the party for the 2022 assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has geared up the organisation by revamping its cadre and sector in-charges in zones and districts.
The BSP supremo Mayawati has made a major reshuffle in the appointment of sector and divisional in-charges by giving almost all the senior party leaders some responsibilities.
Sources in the party here said on Monday that in some divisions, the party has removed the sector in-charges while in some divisions, chief sector in-charges have been appointed.
Now these chief sector in-charges will divide a division into two parts and appoint the sector in-charges respectively.
Besides, district level sector in-charge will be appointed to strengthen the organisation.
The BSP has made Legislature Party leader Lalji Verma in-charge of Lucknow division. Former BSP state president Ram Achal Rajbhar will be the in-charge of Prayagraj.
