MCD restricts public entry for two days as employee tests Covid-19 +ve

The Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD) has restricted the entry of public on its premises once again after an employee of the corporation tested positive for Covid-19. As informed by the municipal commissioner, Vinay Shankar Pandey, an employee was found Covid-19 positive on Sunday and so the MCD will remain closed to the public on Monday and Tuesday.

He stated that the campus will be sanitised on Monday while the employees and officials of the corporation will continue to work in the corporation. Pandey appealed to people to contact officials concerned of MCD in case of any emergencies and requested them to avoid unnecessary visits to public places.
