A memorial meeting was held on Wednesday for late Jagatsinghpur District Truck Owners' Association (JDTOA) chairman Anam Charan Swain at the JDTOA office.
The meeting, chaired by association president Santosh Kumar Patnaik, paid rich homage to Swain. Patnaik said the union would never forget Swain’s valuable views and vision for the formation and management of the union.
JDTOA vice-presidents Gopakrishna Parija and Ramkrishna Parija, secretary Ranjit Behera, treasurer Sanjay Rout and working committee members and other members were present and paid tributes late Swain. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all members attended the memorial meeting by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. The meeting place was sanitised after the programme.
