Mhow, which is the largest tehsil of Indore district and birth place of lord Parsuram and Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar is lucky for the politicians. The present example is swearing in of Mhow MLA Usha Tahkur as the Cabinet minister in Shivraj Singh Chouhan government.
MLA Usha Thakur is the only minister of BJP cadre appointed as the Cabinet Minister out of the total 4 winner candidates from total 8 constituency of Indore district. Mhow BJP MLA has always given priority from the senior national and state level committee of BJP as the previous two BJP candidates from Mhow late Bherulal Patidar and present national general secretary of BJP Kailash Vijayvergiya were also MLA from Mhow in past and both of them were adorned with minister post in previous BJP government.
Former BJP president of Mhow Ramlal Prajapati told that Mhow is considered as little difficult seat for BJP as the Muslim population is a big game changer in Mhow politics.
Interestingly when the congress government was in power in the previous years, they do not give chance to Mhow congress candidate for cabinet minister but the BJP always adorn their MLA as minister in BJP Government.
