Miscreants nabbed for stealing cash, goods from showroom

Chunabhatti police have nabbed a miscreant on Sunday who was involved in stealing cash and goods from a car showroom in Chunabhatti area in the month of August along with his three aides; police have recovered stolen goods near Bhoj University. 

After receiving information regarding a miscreant police team reached the spot and nabbed a youth identified as Bade Bhaiyyu alias Vijay Ingle of Chunabhatti area.

Nabbed accused have past criminal record and involved in burglary and thefts in different areas of the city. He confessed that along with Chhota Bhaiyyu, Rohit and Hari Kishore Daga Motors Chunabhatti was targeted and stole cash, silver coins, silver idol.

During the investigation police found Rohit and Hari Kishore are already serving jail in a case registered by Habibganj police while Chota Bhaiyyu remained absconding and search has been intensified.

Notably complainant Shantanu Ghosh lodged complaint on August 7 with the Chunabhatti police regarding burglary at Daga Motors at Chunbhatti. The miscreants entered the store by breaking back door and escaped with Rs 1 lakh cash, 11 silver coins and two silver idols.

Based on the complaint police registered case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and started investigation.

Police claimed that more valuables would be recovered from the accused and it is possible that more miscreants would be nabbed who were involved in the crimes and disposing the stolen goods.

The accused hold past crime record and would be checked in the further investigation said police. One of the accused is still absconding and search for the absconding accused has been intensified.
