Missing sisters’ bodies found in river

Bodies of the two young sisters, who had jumped into the Tel river under the Tushura police station in Balangir district two days ago, were recovered from river in separates districts on Saturday.

First, the body of Anchal Agarwal (21) was found at Badatenda under the Tarbha PS in Subarnapur district. Later, the body of Anchal’s elder sister Anmol (25) was recovered from Mahanadi at Janhapanka of Boudh district.Anchal and Anmol, daughters of Ramtar Agarwal of Gudbhela village in Balanagir district, had gone out by a scooter telling their parents that they would visit Tushura. When they did not return till late hours, the family members informed police. Police found their scooter and sandals from the river bridge. Fire Services personnel were pressed into service but had not been able to trace the girls in the water.
