A facility to provide power bills to the consumers on their registered WhatsApp number has been started by the Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company. Keeping view the spread of Covid-19 infection, a decision has been taken to provide maximum through online system.
Electricity bill will be provided to consumers on their registered Whatsapp number every month, this will eliminate the problem of delay in getting the bill by the consumers.
An unmanned Chatbot system has been introduced by the company to lodge complaints, to check the status of the complaints, to view the bills, receipt of bill payments and to know the status of other applications. Power consumers can use this system on their WhatsApp.
In order to use the Chatbot, consumers are required to save the company's authorized number 07552551222 on their mobile phones. Consumers can use these facilities on their WhatsApp through chat on this number.
The consumers have to type any message to start the chat, after which the Chatbot will activate.In order to prevent spreading of Coronavirus infection, the electricity bill payment centers have been closed till lock down period to prevent by the Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company..
