New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has arranged seven Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses to pick its employees deployed on essential services from their residence to office during lockdown period.
A senior NDMC official said that these buses will be run on 8th and 9th April on specified routes on trail basis. The civic body has requested to DTC officials to ensure availability of the buses exclusively cater to NDMC employees.
“The employees of essential services should be carrying valid ID cards along with curfew passes issued by designated authority and all employees also should follow the norms of social distancing,” he said.
The movement of these buses will be operated by the Transport Department with the coordination of director (Coordination) of NDMC.
