NDMC launches disinfection drive for its commercial building

After more than 30 staff members of the civic body tested positive for Covid-19, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) launched an extensive sanitisation drive in all its commercial buildings, including its headquarters -Palika Kendra.

A senior NDMC official said that sanitisation of all NDMC office premises other than NDMC's commercial Buildings are being done and undertaken by the public health department of NDMC.

“In all NDMC offices other than those located in commercial buildings and from where Covid-19 positive cases are reported, the concerned Head of the Department would intimate the public health department who shall get intensive disinfection of the office premises, done immediately,” he said.

The particular room, which belongs to the employee who was reported Covid- 19 positive, would remain closed for the day of disinfection, he said.
