Koraput Blood Component Unit op demanded
Koraput: A delegation of the District Blood Donors and Motivators Forum (DBDMF), Koraput has submitted memorandums to Additional District Magistrate, Koraput Deben Kumar Pradhan and CDMO Dr Makrand Beura demanding early operation of the Blood Component Unit at the Koraput Blood Bank for the benefit of needy patients. The ADM and the CDMO assured the team of early action. They also praised the DBDMF for collecting a record number of 1,003 units of blood within a month during the Covid lockdown period.
SCITM donates Rs 1L to CMRF
Koraput: The SCITM run by the Lakshman Nayak Charitable Trust has contributed Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and Rs 25,000 to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for utilisation in curbing coronavirus outbreak. The SCITM staffs contributed two days’ salary for this noble cause.
