Noon shower provides relief to denizens from hot weather

Bhopal received showers in the afternoon providing relief from hot and humid weather conditions which prevailed for the past few days.

The rains which were much needed shower started late in the afternoon and continued till the evening making the weather conditions pleasant. Cloudy weather conditions remained throughout the day and poured in the afternoon.

Next two days are likely to witness heavy rainfall in the state while later it would be accompanied by thunder lightening. The state received less rainfall in the past 5-6 days and in the lull phase hot and humid conditions prevailed across the state.

The day temperatures increased over 30 degree celsius while night temperature were quiet comforting.Temperatures in east Madhya Pradesh have increased more as compared to west Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal recorded 33 degree celsius in the day and it was 25 degree celsius in the night.

According to the forecast good rainfall is likely to be witnessed in the next two days in the region.

The rainfall in normal and excess at most of the places in the state except few regions still for farmers who have sowed are waiting for good rainfall which has not been witnessed.

In the next 24 hours Bhopal, Jabalpur and Hoshangabad divisions, Shajapur, Agar, Ujjain, Dewas, Guna and Ashoknagar are likely to receive light showers and witness thunder lightening.

The Met department has issued warning of thundery activities and ligthening Bhopal, Jabalpur and Hoshangabad divisions, Shajapur, Agar, Ujjain, Dewas, Guna and Ashoknagar in the next 24 hours.
