An initiative, Jai Jagat Kitchen to help the needy and especially the police officers concluded on Wednesday. The initiative concluded after the recent announcements made by the Central and State Government, things in the city of the lakes return to normal.

The initiative concluded with a small gathering and dinner where they served Kheer-Puri. Everyone expressed their gratitude towards Master Chef of Jai Jagat Kitchen Saroj Diwakar and the serving team Neeru, Vijay and Vivek.

Aneesh Kumar, National Convenor of Ekta Parishad, shared, "We had a conversation with Thana Incharge of Shyamla Hills and requested what help Gandhi Bhawan can offer and after that they started Jai Jagat Kitchen,

which emerged as a blessing for police officers who are on duty far from their homes." Bharat Prasad, the Incharge Shaymla Hills Police Station, also said, “Before, we also received food, but we were served the same food every day. At Jai Jagat Kitchen, the menu is changed daily and is an excellent choice for us that keeps our police team healthy and happy in difficult times."

JJ Kitchen also expressed gratitude towards Kumud Singh from Sarokar Group and Youth Volunteer Saiem Khan who are constantly reaching to people in need from the day one of lockdown till now with whatever support possible.

Jai Jagat Kitchen team also shared in the end that this not the closure of the initiative, we will soon return with a model to provide daily food security to people in need, starting from the city of Bhopal and then reaching more places with local teams.

Gathering concluded with  very powerful song performed by senior journalist, social worker Sunil Kumar Gupta, who sings Rotinama, 100-year-old composition by Nazir Akabarabadi.
