NUJ-I to observe its golden jublee year from January, committee formed to organise event

The National Union of Journalists-India (NUJ-I) is going to observe its Golden Jubilee Year from January next year and organizing committee has been formed for the event.

Former Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi Journalism University and noted journalist of the country Achyutanand Mishra will be the convener of this organizing committee. NUJ-I officials and supporters have been included in this committee. This committee will guide the events throughout the year. The first event will be held in Delhi on a large scale. After this, there will be events in the respective states throughout the year. The outline of which is being made.

NUJ-I President Manoj Mishra and General Secretary Suresh Sharma issued a statement informing this effect. The statement said that Achyutanand Mishra will be the convener in the committee set up for organizing the NUJ-I Golden Jubilee.

Members in the committee are all KN Gupta, K.K. N. Malik, Hiranmay Karlekar, Ram Bahadur Rai, Rajendra Sharma, Prabhat Jha, Balbir Punj, Balmukund Bharti, Shyam Khosla, G.K. Mohanty, PK Rai, Jagdish Upasane, Baldev Bhai Sharma, Gulab Batra, Atmadeep, Upala Laxman, Vijay Kranti, Prafulla Ketkar, Ashutosh Bhatnagar, Harshvardhan Saxena, Ashok Malik, Hemant Vishnoi, Rambhuvan Singh Kushwaha, Jitendra Tiwari, Vichitra Sharma,. Manoranjana and Ravindra Bajpai.

NUJ-I President Manoj Mishra, General Secretary Suresh Sharma and Treasurer Umesh Chaturvedi will be ex-officio members of the committee.
