One dies in road accident

A 35-year-old man died while his friend escaped with injuries after their bike fell into a gorge at Imalia Bypass trisection on Thursday under Baghsewania police station area.

Police said that the two injured men were rushed to a hospital where Jai Kumar died during treatment while his friend escaped with injuries.

After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem. A case was registered under section 174 of the CrPC.

Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man died after he fell from the second floor of a under construction house while plastering the outer wall at Bairagarh Chichli on Thursday.

Police said that the deceased, identified as Mahendra Sahu, was a resident of Kolar road and was working at an under construction house when he fell and died. Further investion is on by police.
