Even as the blame game continues over the recent Ganjam bus tragedy that claimed 10 lives, another person died of electrocution in Kendrapada district on Saturday.
A truck driver was electrocuted when he came in contact with an 11-KV live wire at Tarpada village under Mahakalpada block. The incident took place while Prabhat Sethy was unloading sand from the truck.
On February 9, as many as 10 persons, including six women, had been electrocuted and 22 others injured when a bus by which they were travelling came in contact with an 11-KV power transmission line at Golanthara in Ganjam district.
The Government suspended four officials, including two Junior Engineers and an SDO for dereliction of duty. Later, police arrested bus driver Golak Bihari Nayak.
