An online seminar was held at the Sanchi Buddhist-Indian University of Knowledge Studies on the topic "Enlightenment of Gyan Yoga and Karmayoga in the context of Bhagavad Gita".

The Vice-Chancellor of the University and Principal Secretary of MP Government Culture Department and Public Relations Department Shiv Shekhar Shukla while addressing the seminar said that there is a need to reach texts like Gita, Upanishads and Ramcharitmanas. According to Shukla, these texts should be made so extensive that the younger generation can join them and do their welfare.

Shukla said that the Gita is useful not only for India but for the whole world as it shows the path of knowledge, karma, devotion and jnana yoga as per the eligibility of the person.

The keynote speaker at the seminar, Secretary of Shri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Seva Ashram of Chhattisgarh - Ambikapur said that 'Knowledge is the only path of thought' and the knowledgeable person renounces all desires and soothes the soul and such Self-knowledgeable people attain peace.

Swami Yajnadharanandji of Belur Math, a Kolkata-based Ramakrishna Mission, in his lecture focused on 'Karmayoga' mentioned in the Gita, stated that the karma done by offering all the deeds to God is Karmayog. He said that by offering God, wisdom brings perfection to the deeds and a person can achieve accomplishment only through his ordinary deeds .... By performing deeds while remembering God, perfection is achieved in deeds.

Convener of the online seminar and head of Indian Philosophy Department of Sanchi University, Naveen Dixit said that Yoga is actually the soul's union with God and according to Gita, this connection can be through knowledge, action and devotion.
