In a bid to provide relief to the patients with breathing difficulties three oxygen therapy centres were opened in three different PHCs in town on Thursday. These PHCs at Sovarampur,Sahadevkhunta and Sunhat began operational from day as oxygen therapy centres after their inauguration.
District Collector K Sudarshan Chakravarthy informed that patients both Covid as well as non Covid diseases would be provided oxygen and other allied treatment facilities in these centres.
They would be discharged after conditions became normal; else they would be referred to DHH. Each PHC with this therapy facility has four beds and would be opened round clock. From September 20 three each ANMs would be deployed in these centres.
The district administration meanwhile has released phone numbers of in-charge doctors of these centres for any information, suggestion and treatment etc.
