The gruesome Palghar lynching of two saints in April this year is the central theme of the movie "Sanghaar" produced by actor Punit Oscar. Title song and poster of film was released on Thursday in the national capital in presence of former East Delhi Mahesh Girri, Swami Avadeshananda Giri of Juna Akhada and prominent saints.
Swami Awadheshanand Giri said their was complete silence in bollywood, which voiced it's opinion on several issues small or big by taking out candle march or tweets, and people did not liked it. "Punit (Issar) came forward and made a movie to take a stand for religion."
Issar, a veteran actor widely known as the on-screen Duryodhana in epic Mahabharata, said that he was pained by lynching of two Saints in Palghar and their was no candle march or buzz on twitter which forced home to produce the film to explain " Sanatan Dharma".
"Film was written and directed by my son Siddhant.he wil be also seen in lead," he said.
Director of film, Siddhant said that it is not a controversial but a sensitive topic. "My dad supported me as we share the same feeling.
