Pay salaries of Covid warriors, Cong workers tell Kejriwal

Delhi Congress on Friday held “Nyay March” at the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal residence, demanding immediate payment of pending salaries to the Covid warriors.

The Congress president submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister, demanding the salaries of sanitation workers, ad hoc employees, gardeners, marshalls, nurses and doctors be paid immediately.

Hundreds of party workers participated in the march that was led by Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar and vice- president Jai Kishan.

The Delhi Government should clear the pending salaries of the Corona warriors of the MCDs and Delhi Government, who have been on the forefront in fighting the pandemic and many of them became victims of the virus and their wages have been held up as the Delhi Government, Kumar said.
