Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday appreciated all the necessary steps undertaken by Chhattisgarh in different sectors during his interaction with Chief Secretary R.P. Mandal.
The Prime Minister was interacting virtually with Chief Secretaries under the multi-purpose and multi-modal platform PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) mainly on financial assistance, structure of hospital, ration, employment, Prime Minister Housing Scheme (Rural), PM Atma Nirbhar Bharat related schemes and operationalizing the agriculture reforms.
The Chief Secretary briefed Modi that 1,028 complaints were received related to the Prime Minister Housing Scheme (Rural) out of which all but one had been resolved. During Covid-19 period, `12.57 crore was disbursed to 18,087 workers.
In all the private hospitals, all Covid guidelines were enforced within a time-frame vis-a-vis treatment, said an official communication.
Food grains and chickpeas were distributed under Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Ann Yojna. Around 29.35 lakh people were given jobs under MGNREGA.
Mandal said that under Pradhan Mantri Svanidhi Yojana, Chhattisgarh is placed in 7th position.
Similarly, under the Export Hub Scheme, in all the districts, the District Export Hub Promotion Committee has been constituted. By December 31, the District Action Plan will be approved.
