Nishatpura police have nabbed three vehicle-lifters from Karond square and recovered six two-wheelers worth Rs 2.1 lakh from thier possession on Wednesday.
According to the police, during vehicle checking at Karond square three men over a motorbike without having registration number were stopped for checking and when they were asked details regarding the vehicle they failed and tried to escape with excuse of documents of vehicle where at home.
On duty police personnel checked the details on the Vehicle Detection Portal and found that the vehicle was stolen from Koh-e-Fiza and was in the name of Yusuf Khan.
The nabbed accused were identified as Irfan aka Golden(21) of Qazi Camp, Sajid Shah(26) of Karond Bhopal and Yusuf Ali(19) of Qazi Camp.
In the initial investigation police have recovered five other motorbikes from thier possession which were stolen from Nishatpura area.
Arrested accused hold past crime record and are habitual offenders. Irfan has been booked for 13 cases of theft, burglary and arms act by Piplani, Kolar, Talaiya, AJK, Hanumanganj police.
Sajid was booked by Baghsewania and Gautam Nagar police for burglary and arms act.
The details regarding the vehicle that they used to sell or dispose with the help of their aide would be revealed in the further investigation.
Their aides would be identified and would be questioned in the investigation which could help in obtaining more details of earlier crimes and involvement in other crimes.
Police said that the parking spaces were used to park the stolen bike and which were to be sold later. During the investigation police have not found any criminal record of the miscreant and told that search for the crime record would be done in the further investigation. Police said that the five vehicles were stolen from Nishatpura area.
