Deoghar Cyber police conducted raid and arrested the prime suspect Gurudev Mandal at Kusmaha village under Khaga police station in Deoghar district in a cyber fraud case. Based on Mandal’s confession and further interrogation , seven more Cyber criminals were arrested from village Raghuwadih and Kusmaha.
The matter relates to Cyber Police Station case no 62/19, in which a victim Shubham Sandilya, medical student and resident of Deoghar was subjected to UPI fraud of Rs 50,000 after he received a fake call from a fraudster posing as manager of Bank of India. The arrested persons have been identified as Mijail Ansari, son of Khatir Ansari
Gurudeo Mandal son of Ramchandra mandal, Bhim Mandal, son of Ranjit Mandal, Rakesh Mandal son Ranjit Mandal all belonging to village Raguwadih, while Vijay Mahto and Ajay Mahto both sons of Supari Mahato, Samir Mandal son of Anil Mandal and Ganesh Mandal son Samir Mandal,resident of Kusmaha under Khaga, police station in Deoghar district.
