In order to ensure availability of masks to the common people the Department of Posts, Jharkhand Circle signed an agreement with Kasturba Gramodyog Sansthan, Ranchi on Friday for marketing of Khadi Mask (03 tier) through various post offices of Jharkhand. These masks made by Kasturba Gramodyog Sansthan, Ranchi are not only economical but can also be washed and reused. These masks made of Khadi will be available for sale from the first week of June in all major post offices, post-shoppers.
On this occasion, the CPMG, Jharkhand CircleShashi Shalini Kujur informed that various products made by Kasturba Gramodyog Sansthan, Ranchi are already being sold by the post offices, as a sequel to the sale of Khadi masks. It will not only boost the circulation of Khadi but will also provide employment to the people associated with Small and Medium Industries (MSME). On the occasion, Satyakam, Director of Posts, Jharkhand, told that the e-payment software for sale of masks has a separate Biller-ID. Provision has been made to facilitate the sale.
According to the officials of the Sansthan Jharkhand Postal Circle is the first Postal Circle in the country with which an agreement has been reached for the sale of Khadi Mask.
