The appropriate measures taken by the biological parents to keep their children disciplined and in control come under exception. The crime against woman branch of the police has clarified that inhuman and cruel treatment of children is an offense punishable under various sections and rules of the JJ Act. Similarly begging by minor children is also a serious cognizable offense and for this purpose, causing physical harm to the child is considered a heinous crime under Section 76 of the JJ Act.

The crime against woman branch has also appealed to get the correct documents related to the date of birth of the children as for the law related for support and protection and providing them justice documents related to date of birth are very important for children.

It has been found that due to lack of uniform date of birth in documents related to it like birth certificate, Anganwadi records, admission form in school, tenth mark sheet, Aadhar card, ration card, passport etc, child may face problems.
