Criticising the coalition government in the State, former CM Raghubar Das said on Saturday that the present government lacks both intention and policy. “The CM has become habitual to point fingers at every policy of the Central Government. Regarding the new electrification policy, the CM has alleged that the Central Government is conspiring to destabilize the non-BJP ruled states with its policies. In fact, the Jharkhand government’s own policies are becoming deadly for them. At the time of Corona, those who have not managed to maintain a colony are questioning the policies of the Central Government today,” said Das.
The former CM further said that when the Central Government decided to auction the coal mines for commercial mining, the CM first welcomed the request to implement it after the lockdown, but then moved the Supreme Court against it. “The Central Government has started this auction process to make India self-sufficient by increasing coal production in the country. This will create new employment opportunities in the State. The country’s economy will get a boost, domestic industry and resources will gain momentum, but the State government does not want all this,” he said.
Das said that now they (JMM) are also finding faults in the new electrification policy of the Center. “Without studying the new electrification policy, the charge that ‘these rules are trying to collapse the federal structure of the country’ is unfortunate, ridiculous and sad,” he said.
The former Chief Minister alleged that the government has failed on every front. Despite adequate supply of foodgrains by the Center, the distribution of food grains is not done properly and people are falling victim to starvation. He has advised the CM to work in State’s interest, in the public interest and leave excuses.
