The railways have decided to operate Howrah-Dhanbad express and Howrah-Mumbai express trains from December 1 on a daily basis .
Though both trains would run on their pre lockdown timings, passengers would have to pay more as both would be introduced in tracks as holiday special trains.
The railway board notified movement of both trains on Tuesday that have been names as holiday specials
Booking for both trains would commence soon and would have stoppage on all stations that were in original trains.
While the Howrah-Dhanbad would help people in moving to Howrah from Dhanbad on a daily basis that was suspended since the lockdown in March. The Mumbai special would help patients from West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and UP to reach Mumbai for treatment besides others.
In another move the Dhanbad railway division( DRD) earned over `45 lakh by booking a full rack goods train from Hazaribag Road station of the division to Samalkota according to senior divisional commercial manager(SDCM), AK Pandey.
Besides, the business development unit of the division has also succeeded in procuring business of transportation of Mica to different locations from Koderma station.
