Ranchi DC holds meeting on Covid-19 crisis

In an attempt to prevent spread of Corona virus a meeting of various task forces and cells was held on Thursday at the Collectorate Office led by Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC), Rai Mahimapat Ray.

The District Land Acquisition Officer, District Fisheries Officer will coordinate to prepare a list of such persons, who are to be sent out from Ranchi District to other Districts. District Transport Officer will arrange adequate numbers of vehicles so that people will be transported to their destination.

It will be mandatory for people coming from outside the district and other states entering Ranchi District to follow the Covid-19 protocol. It will be mandatory to swab those who are coming from the Red Zone in Ranchi District. They will be quarantined after swabbing. All the deputed officials will literally ensure to follow the protocol of Covid-19. All the people coming from the Red Zone will be quarantined. People from the Green Zone and Orange Zone will be placed in the shelter homes. Additional Collector, District Fisheries Officer and District Welfare Officer will discharge the successful operation of this work. New Magistrates have been deputed in Hindpiri.

Ray gave detailed information about the protocol of Covid-19 to all the officials deputed in Ranchi District. Their works were divided and necessary guidelines were given.

Anant Kumar, deputed for Ranchi District, will coordinate with the Civil Surgeon and monitor the medical work. The District Welfare Officer is conducting the swabbing as required. SDO Bundu has been given responsibility for matters related to people coming by train. Prem Kumar Tiwari, a Deputation Officer for Ranchi, will cooperate with SDO Bundu in matters related to the vehicles. Prem Tiwari will monitor the work related to Migrant Labor.

Rajeshwar Nath Alok and Aftab Ahmed were deputed to Hindpiri. ADM Naxal is in the preferred charge of Gurunanak Command are and the Control Room. Both officials will work under his guidance. Anurag Lakda has been deputed at Paras Kovid Hospital. Sanjay Kumar and Vineet Kumar have been given the task to cooperate the DC.

No pass will be valid in the Containment Zone and Micro Containment Zone. A person can neither enter the Containment Zone nor the Micro Containment Zone nor can he or she leave that area. In view of this rule, there is no online pass validity in all the Containment Zone and Micro Containment Zone of Ranchi District.

The meeting was attended by SSP Ranchi, Additional Collector, ADM Law and Order, ADM Naxal, Sub-Divisional Officer Ranchi, Sub-Divisional Officer Bundu along with senior and nodal officers.
