Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth honoured the Corona warrior doctors at the IMA Auditorium in Ranchi on Sunday. About 125 leading doctors of all the hospitals in the Capital city were honoured in the programme, two doctors from Ranchi who died of corona, Dr. S K Paul and Dr. Suresh Prasad, were first paid floral tributes and a 2-minute silence was observed for peace to their souls.

The event was chaired by Dr. GD Banerjee, President of IMA, and the guests were welcomed by Dr. Sambhu Singh, Secretary, IMA, Jharkhand. Seth honoured all the doctors by offering roses and shawls.

The doctors were from various hospitals including RIMS, Sadar Hospital, NRHM Namkum, Medanta Hospital, Medica Hospital, Alam Nursing Home, Paras Hospital, Rampyari Hospital, Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital, Samford Hospital, Orchid Hospital, Centevita Hospital, Seva Sadan Hospital, Dev Kamal Hospital, Guru Nanak Hospital, Raj Hospital, Gandhinagar Hospital.

The young doctor of Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital, Dr. Bibhuti Kashyap, who was felicitated by the MP, maintained the emergency service of the hospital 24 hours a day during the epidemic.

He not only saw the patients but also operated on the children, youth and elderly who came for emergency service from far flung areas of the entire Jharkhand and returned light to their eyes. If they were not treated at the right time, their eyesight would have gone forever.

He saved the light of the eyes of those who suffered injury in lockdown whose lens was damaged and moved from its place. She saved the eyesight of many such children who injured themselves by playing with bow and arrow after watching the serial characters in the lockdown. On this occasion, the Ranchi MP said that the readiness with which Dr, nurse, medical staff, working in this corona epidemic saved the lives of the people, irrespective of their lives, their debt can never be repaid. “In reality the doctor on earth is another form of God, who is going to give new life to the people on earth.

I also salute your parents who made you Doctors to serve the people. Today the people of India are safe from this epidemic. It is because of all you. Your service debt can never be repaid, but my duty is to honour you,” he said.
