Ratibad police have arrested three wanted dacoits from Sehore and Dewas having a reward of Rs 10,000 on their heads who were involved in dacoity five years ago; six of the dacoits were nabbed earlier while three remained absconding.
In the year 2015 on August 29 police team rushed to spot near Sanskar Valley school where dacoits committed robbery. On September 3, 2015 again same crime was reported and on September 8, 2015 six dacoits were nabbed by the police while three remained absconding.
Acting on a tip off on Saturday regarding the three dacoits police team arrested three miscreants identified as Babulal Raghuvanshi(48), Raja alias Rajaram(30) and Surendra Raghuvanshi(28) of Dewas.
The SP South announced a reward of Rs 10000 for providing details of the wanted dacoits.
According to the police, arrested dacoits were involved in dacoity, robbery, attempt to murder, planning robbery, attacking police with firearms and several other crimes and have been booked by Ratibad police, Dewas police and Sehore police. Details of crimes by the arrested dacoits is under investiagtion.
During the investigation, police found that the arrested dacoits used to target victims in deserted areas on highways and forests. The would lay nails to flatten tyres, by stone pelting or by using cattapult to stop the vehicles and would thrash the passengers and would loot jewelry, money and valuables
