With the steady movement of monsoon relief from the extreme hot conditions in likely to be witnessed in the next 3-4 days in the state.Severe heat wave conditions are likely to witness in Bhopal and Rewa division in the next 24 hours according to the warning issued by Met department.
The districts for which warning of severe heat wave con has been issued are Tikamgarh, Panna, Sagar, Damoh, Umaria, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Shajapur, Khandwa, Khargone , Guna, Datia, Shivpuri and Ashoknagar.Khargone and Gwalior recorded 46 degree Celsius, Nowgong and Khajuraho recorded 46.3 and 46.4 degree Celsius. In central India including Madhya Pradesh the sky will be completely clear between May 25 to 28 and the harsh summer will be at its peak.
Temperatures in Madhya Pradesh will remain 45 degrees or above in many places, which will keep many areas under heat. The weather in Madhya Pradesh will be dry during the next 48 hours and severe heatwave conditions are likely to occur at some places in the districts of Gwalior,
Chambal divisions and heatwave conditions are likely to occur at many places in the districts of Rewa, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions in the state and in Indore, Ujjain and Hoshangabad divisions also the pattern would be witnessed. Due to the formation of a western disturbance and east-west trough in the lower levels, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm in the next 2-3 days. During the next 24 hours Southwest Monsoon over parts of South Bay of Bengal, Andaman and conditions are favorable for moving beyond the ocean and adjoining Bay of Bengal.
The cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan and adjoining areas and a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas is present.
