Expressing deep concern over Kanpur incident in which eight policemen were martyred, Rashtriya Lok Dal national spokesman Anil Dubey demanded Rs 1 crore as compensation to the family of each martyred policeman and government job to one member of their families.
Dubey said it was evident from the incident that the police informer network had failed miserably and the nexus of criminals was working effectively in the Yogi Adityanath government.
He said incidents of murder took place in more than a half-a-dozen of districts of Uttar Pradesh on Friday and this exposed the state government’s claim of having brought law and order and crime under control.
Dubey said the people were under pressure following the coronavirus pandemic and a spurt in crime incidents had added to their woes.
. Communist Party of India state secretary Girsh expressed grief over the death of policemen in the Kanpur incident and criticised the state government, saying why a criminal having 60 cases of heinous crime was out of jail. He demanded compensation to the family of the martyred policemen.
Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh expressed grief over the death of martyred policemen and demanded compensation to the family of the each of the martyred cop.
He also demanded a probe into the incident by a sitting judge of High Court.
