The three-day International Web Conference 2020 was organized by Rabindranath Tagore University. The theme of this conference was ‘Redefining, Restoring and Rewrapping the World for Sustainable Development Amidst New Normal’. The conference was jointly organized by the University's Department of Management, Commerce and Engineering along with special support from BSSA Anand Vihar College, IEHE Bhopal and Collingam University Chennai.
The conference was inaugurated by Sanjeev J. Faselkar, Vice Chancellor of Tagore University, Brahma Prakash Pethia, Convenor of CRG Prof. VK Verma and Grand Academic Portal President Anita Sharma in the gracious presence.
Brahmaprakash spoke about staying away from consumerist culture for sustainable development. Faselkar highlighted the importance of sustainable development. Professor Verma suggested to include education and environment more effectively in the courses.
Anita spoke of the transformation of the real world into a virtual world. At the closing segment, the university's registrar, Vijay Singh, emphasized the challenges of the New Normal. He said that the purpose of the conference was to discuss the problems, challenges and opportunities that arose during the period of Covid at the international level.
Expressing gratitude, the Dean of the University, Sanjeev Gupta said that in this three-day conference, academics from different parts of the country including Iran, Indonesia, Sri Lanka have a wide range of topics like employment, sustainable development, virtual tools, impact of Covid on higher education to be discussed.
