RTU secures place among top 200 institutes second time in NIRF ranking

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has recently announced the Indian Ranking 2020 of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Government of India. Among the private universities of Madhya Pradesh, Rabindranath Tagore University is the only university which has secured its place in the top 200 institutes of the country for the second consecutive year.

Rabindranath Tagore University has made its place in two categories including overall ranking and university ranking. It is noteworthy that for the last five years, ranking of top educational institutions of the country is being given annually through NIRF. The ranking is determined based on various parameters.

The parameters includes Teaching and Learning Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach and Inclusion and Perception.

It is also noteworthy that Rabindranath Tagore University has received prestigious awards like Most Innovative University of Central India Award, Best Private University of Central India Award, Higher Education Leadership Award. Rabindranath Tagore University has an MoU with National and International. University students are also employed in many international and national institutions.

Besides, due to Covid-19 all the institutions are shut down. Hence, online classes are also being offered to students.

According to Dr. Vijay Singh, the registrar of Rabindranath Tagore University, the  University particularly focus on skill oriented job oriented courses. In addition to the traditional courses, employment oriented courses have also been started in the university.
