A sanitiser tunnel has been made in the Mandi Samiti of Haridwar to prevent scope for spread of COVID-19 in this Mandi. A sanitiser spray machine has been installed at the entry point of the Mandi Samiti gate. People visiting the Mandi have to pass through this spray tunnel.
Brij Lal Gupta of the Mandi Samiti said that this sanitiser machine has been made at a cost of about Rs 80,000. A 500 litre tanker containing sanitiser has been attached to this machine.
