Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar’ held at Naxal pocket in Palamu

Sunday, 16 February 2020 | PNS | Daltonganj

Sarkar Aap Key Dwar in naxal pocket Palamu’s Uldanda is seen as a cessation of extremists’ Jan Adalat. The poor flocked the programme. Some return with smiles, more with a grudge said sources.

Sources said security set up for such a programme is never a scale down but the atmosphere of fear, which was prevalent some two or three years back is not palpable in places like Uldanda, which is a tribal dominated panchayat.  Sources said the programme needs to be re organized. Sources said it should be classified into various categories like women & children, unskilled and unorganized labourers, senior citizenry etc.

Two year old Faizan Raza of Sarja village was registered for Aadhar card at Uldanda where today Saturday Feb 15 Sarkar Aap Key Dwar was held 34 Kms away from Daltonganj.

Jai Sinta Kujur, an 11 class student who lived at Garhwa’s Bhandariya block visited the Aadhar Card registration stall where the computer operator Manish Kr Singh registered her demand for a change of her postal address.

All these services came for free. The Sarkar Aap Key Dwar is helping the needy most said Banarsi Singh a resident there. Kanchan Bala Devi visited food and civil supplies stall for a separate ration card of her and three children. She told the Pioneer there “ My one child is just one and a half year old. This child has not been registered for Aadhar card. I cannot apply for ration card unless I get this child of mine registered for Aadhar card.”

DC Palamu Shantanu Kumar Agrahari who led his team here at Uldanda comprising AC P K Prasad, DDC B M P Singh, DSO Amit Prakash, Excise superintendent Sanjay Srivastava, SDO S Kumar Singh announced on the spot saying, “ If and when the school committee of Nilamber Pitamber here at Sarja deposits 30,000rupees for affiliation the district administration will grant it affiliation as this school claims to have already deposited one lakh of rupees.”

Agrahari said since this school after getting affiliation even will not be then entitled to mid day meal facility. There are more than 170 studentsenrolled here which was set up in 1998 by the then extremists group called CPI ML Party Unity.

Ramgarh block has now got one branch of SBI after a great many struggle of 10 years or so but Agrahari conceded this branch is in its nascent stage where accounts openings are done and not financial transactions. He said efforts are on to start core banking here too.

This extremist hit stretch Ramgarh which has 7 panchayats has no doctor cover and here is telemedicine facility in tie up with hospital in Hyderabad. The Pioneer met Saida Bibi whose 5 year old daughter Aseeya had telemedicine cover which she claimed cured her daughter’s mouth wounds. However telemedicine facility is too rudimentary condition for want of effective electricity cover and net facility.
