Second virtual Cabinet meeting held in State

The second virtual meeting of the Cabinet was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Ministers joined the meeting of the Cabinet through video conferencing from various places.

The Cabinet took a decision to issue administrative approval to an estimated amount of Rs 59.89 crore for the digitization of land records in Madhya Pradesh under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme of Government of India.

In addition to the amount of Rs 25.80 crore  available for digitization, maximum amount of Rs 15 crore will be used from the available fund in e-district project run by the Public Service Management Department for additional expenditure of Rs 34.09 crore.

The interest received from the total amount of States share in the bank account of Madhya Pradesh Land Records Management Committee which is around Rs 8 crore will be used under DILRMP Project.

Under the DILRMP project, the amount of interest received from the total amount of the Centres share of about Rs  11.09 crore will be utilized by getting approval from the Government of India or if permission is not granted for its use, the budgetary provision of Rs 5 crore in the financial year 2022-23 of the said amount and Rs 5.50 crore in the year 2023-24 will be added and the State Government will bear the expenses.

Presentation of two departmentsThe Department of Public Health and Family Welfare and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection briefed the Cabinet with information and progress of its important schemes.
