Eye treatment and surgeries of eye patients have resumed again in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital from today. Due to spread of Corona virus pandemic,  the normal activities of the hospital were stopped since last March 22, 2020. Since then services of only one ophthalmologist were made available for emergency treatment in the hospital.

Now the Ophthalmologists of all super specialities eye treatment facilities like Cataract, Glaucoma, Retinopathy, Pediatric eye diseases and Squint are regularly present to treat the ailing patients. The hospital is opened from 9 AM to 6 PM everyday.

Eye patients residing at far-flung areas can avail to and fro ambulance facility on very nominal charge. They can demand for the ambulance on the phone numbers 6262220066, 0755-2643581, 2641156, 4244767 and 2641200 of the Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital.

Due to Corona virus pandemic rules of maintaining social and physical distancing are being compiled by the eye patients. In view to maintained mutual distance in between patients scattered sitting arrangements are done.

 Now the eye patients are being placed in three buildings while there were only two buildings where the treatment facilities were rendered.

Hospital staff is strictly following the rules of thermal screening and hand washing procedure for the eye patients.

Those patients who have not wore face masks, hospital itself is providing them face masks so as all the patients can follow the preliminary measures of protecting themselves from the dreaded Corona Virus.
