Police here on Thursday arrested OAS officer Bibhu Prasad Sarangi, Director of AYUSH, on the charge of sexually harassing a woman employee of the Directorate, informed Commissioner of Police Sudhansu Sarangi.
The Mahila Police arrested the official following a case being registered against him based on a complaint lodged by the woman that he was frequently sending her obscene videos and harassing her by pressuring her to have physical relationship with him.
Refuting the allegations, Sarangi has filed a counter-FIR against his woman colleague claiming that no videos or messages containing obscene contents had been sent by him.
