Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) president Shivpal Singh Yadav has started the process of limiting the activities of his party following the rapprochement with his nephew Akhilesh Yadav who is president of Samajwadi Party.
Shivpal Yadav on Monday announced to dissolve the panel of spokesmen for interaction with the media and TV news channels. He said in a statement that no one from his party should now be invited by news channels for studio debates.
The feud within the first family of the Samajwadi Party has shown signs of reconciliation, with the party withdrawing its petition for the disqualification of Shivpal Singh Yadav from the membership of the UP Assembly.
Shivpal Yadav is MLA from Jaswantnagar in Etawah.
Akhilesh Yadav has also announced that the Samajwadi Party will not filed candidate from the Jaswantnagar constituency in the 2022 UP Assembly elections.
