Shops burgled, laptops taken away

Two laptops and electronic goods worth Rs 1.8 lakh were stolen from two shops at Gurukripa Tower under Kolar police station area on Thursday.

Police said the victim, Swapnil Sahu, lodged a complaint regarding burglary of electronic goods from his barber shop while electronic goods from his adjacent shop was owned by Yogesh Gupta.

In his complaint, the victim stated that he owned Gurukripa shop but on Friday, he was informed by his friend that the gate of his shop was broken. Later, he went to check and found that the shutter was found broken and on entering, the electronic goods were found burgled.

After he reached the spot, he also find that his neighboring shop owned by Yogesh Gupta was also targeted and electronic goods and cash were also burgled from his shop.
