SISTec sees over 25 firms offering 195 jobs to its engineering students

Sagar Group’s Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec), Department of Mechanical Engineering witnessed presence of over 25 companies offering more than 145 job offers to its mechanical engineering students in 2019-20 with highest package of 4.5 lacs offered by Adani.

SISTec belongs to Sagar Group which has a strong manufacturing and industrial background in Central India and has emerged as gateway to placements for the students. Companies visiting SISTec Gandhi Nagar and Ratibad campuses for mechanical engineers placement this year include Adani, Robert Bosch, Bridgestone, Mahindra, Tata Steel, Asahi India Glass Ltd, Eicher, John Deere, HEG, Tata Motors, SMPL, MSS India, Dassault systemes, Bokaro Steel, Jindal Steel, Triveni Turbines, A1 Fence etc are amongst to name a few.

This year, SISTec witnessed presence of 137 companies in its campuses offering 840 jobs offers to its students with highest package of 22 lacs per annum offered by Adobe.  SISTec Mechanical Department students attain skill sets in Metallurgy, Automobile, Mechatronics, Drone technology, Mech-operations, Production, Quality control and Mech-maintenance etc. SISTec mechanical engineering department also successfully hoisted its eight edition of ‘Nirmaan’ with start-up conclave on Electric Vehicle with the objective to create entrepreneurs offering real life solutions with innovative working models by virtue of idea generation, technical thinking and conceptualizing.

The SAE Collegiate Club of SISTec designed and fabricated the All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) to participate in the BAJA Competition organized by Mahindra and Mahindra at Pithampur, Indore.  SISTec has been ranked with prestigious Atal

Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA-2020) by MHRD's Innovation Cell (MIC), Ministry of Education Government of India. It has also been recognized with the award of ‘Best Placements in Central India’ by ZEE TV MPCG.
