Special DG Pawan Kumar Jain took charge of Director Sports and Youth Welfare on Friday.
Vinod Pradhan, Joint Director and Director in-charge, handed over the work of Sports Director to Pawan Kumar Jain. It is noteworthy that 1987 batch IPS by the state government.
Officer Pawan Kumar Jain has been posted as Director Sports and Youth Welfare. Prior to this, he was working as the Director General of Special Police (Training). On the arrival of Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare Pawan Kumar Jain, Joint Director Vinod Pradhan and BS Yadav and other officials welcomed him with bouquet.
Sports Director Pawan Kumar Jain got acquainted with the officials.
He recieved necessary information after discussing with departmental plans and sports activities along with the arrangements made by the department for prevention of Covid-19 infection and gave necessary guidelines to the officials.
After taking charge, Director Sports and Youth Welfare Pawan Kumar Jain, inspected the arrangements made for the players and sports facilities.
He visited the martial arts hall, science sports center, badminton hall, karate, fencing and the WHLC Academy, billiard-snooker hall and gym and got information about the arrangements.
On this occasion, Joint Director, Vinod Pradhan and B.S Yadav and other officials and sports coaches were present.
