State Police use information tech to train force

In the time of corona pandemic the training branch of PHQ has kept the training smooth by using modern information technologies to train the police force in the State.

Assistant Inspector General of Police (Training)  Nimisha Pandey said that in view of the importance of training, the effort to keep the training smooth through new mediums was inspired by the Director General of Police Vivek Johri and was done under the guidance of Special Director General of Police (Training) Pawan Jain and Additional Director General of Police Anuradha Shankar. This effort was successful in keeping the training smooth.

Pandey informed that 302 trainees from the State head constable to deputy superintendent of police participated in the online training of the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS) held at Police Training School, Rewa from July 6 to July 8.

Important information on practical aspects was given by the experts of Police Headquarters Training Branch and State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB). Inspector General of Police Rewa Chanchal Shekhar also shared his experiences. This is another achievement in the training branch's effort to continue training continuously through virtual training, she added.

Meanwhile,  Director General of Police Vivek Johri planted a plant of Kalpvriksha tree to encourage conservation of environment at the office premises of Police Fire Service headquarters Bhopal on Friday. A plantation programme for environmental protection was organized and Chief Guest of the event was DGP Johri. The  plantation program was organized at office premises of Police Fire Service, headquarters, Bhopal.

Additional Director General of Police Fire Service Shailesh Singh, Chief Superintendent of Police Fire Service Ramsingh Naingwal and all officers and  employees of Police Fire Service, 200 plants of Kalp tree, Almond, Guava, Mango, Neem, Lemon, Jamun, Belpatra etc were planted.
