Subhashree to represent Odisha in Miss India

Subhashree Rayaguru of Odisha has moved to the all-India level to participate in the 57th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant 2020.

She is among 31 States’ winners for the Femina Miss India contest. She was among the top five finalists to move to the national level to win the title.

Hailing from Balangir district, Subhashree is a lawyer and an anchor by profession. She has done anchoring in about 3,000 live shows and acting in several TV commercial ads. She also worked as the assistant director in Bollywood movie ‘Mastizaade’. Besides, she is an official anchor of e-commerce app Amazon. Dance, singing and physical fitness are her passions.

Subhashree, daughter of Balangir Special Judicial Magistrate (SJM) Ramesh Chandra Rayaguru, had dreamt to opt for modelling as her career since her schooling at the Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 in Balangir.She has also keen interest in sports. She had represented her school in regional level Kho-Kho competition and district-level badminton and she had played cricket in district level as well. She said hard work and dedication drove her to meet her dreams.
