In order to cater to the growing needs of patients, the city's leading health hub, Tata Motors Hospital has added new facilities. On the eve of Doctors’ Day, the senior management of the hospital interacted with the media and shared their future plans.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Sanjay Kumar, head, medical services, said that the number of ICU beds have been increased from 8 to 12 beds. The new facility is proving a boon for the patients.
This year Tata Motors Hospital has added various new facilities like Eye OT, Implementation of Ward Management System across the hospital, Chemo-port Insertion, Advanced Pain Management, Permacath Insertion for Dialysis. The hospital has performed 600 cataract operations so far.
“We have also been able to successfully execute Prime Minister’s Jan Arogya Yojana(PM-JAY) under the brand name TML Plaza. Post the sudden hit of pandemic Tata Motors Hospital has converted TML Plaza from PMJAY to covid Dedicated hospital with 100% production gears, fully equipped hospital along with best set of doctors,” said Kumar.
On Doctors Day will be celebrated in a unique way at Tata Motors Hospital where a set of senior doctors will be talking workshops of the school kids via a mode of video conference on COVID-19. A special session for students of class 10th and 12th of various schools will be organised to guide them to join the noble profession to serve the nation and humanity at large.
